Joan has over 25 years of experience in the areas of tax and financial planning. She has focused on the delivery of services to individuals and their families and to the businesses in which they are involved. Joan is committed to excellence and to insuring client satisfaction.

Prior to forming The Coughlin Group in 1998, Joan was a tax partner with KPMG. Joan graduated from Georgetown University with a BS degree in 1971.
